KB-5Y Primer is a part of the bullet receiving the shock from the impact of firing-pin in order to transform it into the initial thermal pulse firing the propellant. KB-5Y Primer used for high radiation bullets 57-C60; 122-Д74; 130-M46. Besides KB-5Y Primer, the smooth-barrel gun 100 mm MT-12 can be used.
