According to Senior Colonel Chu Việt Sơn, Director of Factory Z121 (General Department of Defense Industry), in 2024, thanks to the efforts and determination of its officers, employees, and workers, Factory Z121 successfully fulfilled all assigned targets and tasks.

Accordingly, the factory’s total production value reached VND 3,528 billion, achieving 100% of the annual plan and increasing by 16.4% compared to 2023.

Of this total, the national defense production value reached VND 660 billion, equal to 102.2% of the plan and up 26.4% year-on-year, while the economic production value amounted to VND 2,868 billion, an increase of 14.3% compared to the previous year.

Total revenue reached VND 3,539.6 billion, equivalent to 100.05% of the annual plan and up 16.9% year-on-year. Specifically, defense revenue was VND 654 billion, achieving 100.17% of the plan and increasing by 18.2% compared to 2023, while economic revenue reached VND 2,883.7 billion, up 16.7% year-on-year.

Profit amounted to VND 200.47 billion, achieving 105.8% of the plan and increasing by 7.3% compared to 2023. The average monthly income of employees reached VND 21.11 million per person, equivalent to 105.8% of the annual plan and up 6.67% compared to 2023.

In 2024, the factory contributed VND 162.5 billion to the budget of Phú Thọ Province, an increase of 21.5% compared to 2023, making it the second-largest taxpayer in the province.

In 2025, Factory Z121 will continue to accelerate its production and business activities, successfully fulfilling its national defense and economic production tasks. The factory will focus on investing in human resource development, diversifying product designs, and expanding production facilities, while also investing in and upgrading modern machinery and technologies to enhance productivity, improve product quality, and ensure safety.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Trần Mạnh Hùng, Party Secretary and Chairman of 21 Chemical One Member Company Limited (Factory Z121), in 2025 the factory aims to achieve a production value of VND 3,826 billion, up 8.4% compared to 2024; revenue of VND 3,836 billion; profit of VND 208.5 billion; and an average monthly income of VND 21.3 million per employee.

Specifically for consumer fireworks, the factory targets production of approximately 10 million units, an increase of nearly 4 million units compared to 2024.
