On November 23, 2025, Factory Z121 / the General Department of Defense Industry coordinated with Economic–Defense Unit 356 of Military Region 2 and the People’s Committee of Sì Lở Lầu Commune (Lai Châu Province) to organize a gift-giving program for disadvantaged households and students in the area. This meaningful activity demonstrated a strong sense of social responsibility and upheld the tradition of the “Uncle Hồ’s Soldiers” in the new era.

Spreading the spirit of military–civil solidarity

The program was directed by the Factory’s Party Committee and Command and was assigned to be led by the Women’s Union of Factory Z121. The working delegation was headed by Senior Colonel Trần Mạnh Hùng, Party Secretary and Chairman of 21 Chemical One Member Company Limited. Participants also included Lieutenant Colonel Hoàng Minh Hải, Head of the Political Department; Professional Military Officer Đàm Thị Thu Lam, Chairwoman of the Factory Z121 Women’s Union; representatives of the Trade Union, the Youth Union, and women cadres from various levels within the Factory.

The working delegation led by Senior Colonel Trần Mạnh Hùng, Party Secretary and Chairman of 21 Chemical One Member Company Limited.

Despite long travel distances and difficult terrain, the delegation personally visited, encouraged local residents, and presented meaningful gifts, vividly reflecting the spirit that “the Army is closely bonded with the People.”

Practical gifts with strong humanitarian value

Factory Z121 presented the following support:

• 20 gift packages for households in especially difficult circumstances
  (each valued at VND 2.5 million)
• 13 gift packages for underprivileged students who have overcome hardship
  (each valued at VND 2.5 million)
• Commemorative gifts for the People’s Committee of Sì Lở Lầu Commune
• Two computer sets to support Economic–Defense Unit 356 of Military Region 2
• Additional gifts such as cakes, candies, milk, and other necessities

These gifts were given with sincerity and care, reflecting the spirit of mutual support, social responsibility, and enduring military–civil solidarity.

Contributing to the movement “The army joins hands for the poor”

This activity stands as a vivid example of the active participation of cadres, employees, and union members of Factory Z121 in the movement “The Army Joins Hands for the Poor – Leaving No One Behind.” Through such efforts, the Factory contributes to helping local communities overcome difficulties and to building a more stable and sustainable livelihood for the people.
