From November 19 to 23, 2025, Factory Z121 of the General Department of Defense Industry of Vietnam participated in the Vietnam–Laos Trade Connectivity and Product Promotion Fair 2025, held at the Lao International Trade Exhibition and Convention Center (ITECC), Vientiane. This event is one of the key activities aimed at strengthening economic and defense cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

At the opening ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyễn Trường Thắng, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of National Defense of Vietnam, and Senior Lieutenant General Vongsone Inpanphim, Deputy Minister of National Defense and Director of the General Political Department of the Lao People’s Army, along with representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and other ministries and agencies of both countries, visited the Z121 exhibition booth.

During the visit, the delegation listened to introductions about Z121’s ecosystem of fireworks and explosive fireworks products serving public celebrations and entertainment needs; various economic products; detonators for underground mining operations; and in particular, explosive fireworks products under the “Made by Z21” brand, which are scheduled to be performed in the Land of a Million Elephants at events commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (December 2, 1975 – December 2, 2025).

Z121 booth draws strong attention at the fair

Throughout the event, the Z121 booth stood out as one of the most attractive highlights of the fair.

Thousands of visitors, including Lao enterprises and local residents, came to learn about Z121’s production capabilities, key products, and future cooperation opportunities.

Participation in this fair provided an important opportunity for Factory Z121 to further affirm the standing of Vietnam’s defense industry enterprises on the international stage.

Affirming prestige – Expanding international cooperation

Through its participation in the fair, Factory Z121 aimed to:

• Affirm the position and reputation of a Vietnamese defense industry enterprise in the international arena
• Introduce modern, multi-sector production capabilities
• Strengthen cooperation and connectivity with Lao organizations and enterprises
• Contribute to promoting stronger and more sustainable economic and defense cooperation between Vietnam and Laos
